Colossians 1:15-20

Christ is the image of our God,

The firstborn of creation,
By Him all things were made, for Him,

Both heaven and earth's foundation.

Thrones, rulers and dominions too,

All things through Him were made,
Before all things, in Christ they stand,

In Him they’re kept and stayed.

Christ is the true head of the Church,

The firstborn from the dead,
That He might have the highest place,

In all things, He is best.

It pleased the Father to reveal

His fullness in the Son,
Through Him, to reconcile all things,

By blood, the work is done.
